election

I’m definitely excited about the election, and I’m super duper curious to see how it turns out.  Many have written about Christian perspectives on the respective candidates, and I don’t feel an urge to add to the chatter.

I do know that half the country will be disappointed greatly by tomorrow’s result, and half the country will be absolutely elated.

I just hope, and pray, that whatever disappointment people feel will turn to earned trust and admiration in coming years, and whatever elation will be tempered by the understanding that political leaders are not perfect and should be afforded the grace to disappoint us and make mistakes (although hopefully the mistakes will not be as disastrous as some in the recent past).
